Aplin Playground – 40 Clarendon Street, North Andover MA
Highlights: This is a small playground on a residential street, consisting of a swing set (four regular, two infant) and a single play structure that height-wise isn’t suitable for anyone under preschool age. The park is mostly a flat grassy field, so it’s a good place to run around with balls and other toys.
Bummers: Every time we have stopped by we haven’t seen anyone else playing, so it’s seemingly a less popular choice around town.
What’s Nearby: Stachey’s Pizza, Good Day Cafe and Green Apple Cafe are all within reasonable walking distance (1/3 mile). For activities, Maker Mill and Taste Buds Kitchen are also in the same area.
Enclosed: Fenced with no gate.
Restrooms: None
Seating: There is one wooden bench on either side of the park.
Shade: A narrow slice of shade runs along the right side of the park by the memorial and the bench.
Parking: Street
