Boston Hill Farm – 1370 Turnpike Street, North Andover MA

Animals: Sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits. You can purchase a cup of animal feed inside the store before you head down to visit them.

Food: Inside the store you can purchase fresh produce, eggs, Richardson’s milk, and a variety of delicious baked goods, specialty items, handmade products and even dog cookies. There is a deli counter where you can order sandwiches and other food, and seating is available on a porch to the right of the building. Ice cream and slushies are also for sale.

Play Area: There is a path between two buildings on the far right side of the parking lot that leads you down to the play area and the animals. There is an adorable wooden cottage loaded with pretend kitchen toys that my daughter is obsessed with, and which I can see would be totally magical for someone small enough to fit in it.  There is also a wooden ship, tractor and train for kids to climb on – it’s a great spot for imagination play. The play area has a couple of tire swings, and there is a sandbox but at the time of our visit there was no sand in it.

Seasonal stuff: Pick Your Own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, apples and pumpkins. You can get your Christmas trees and Halloween pumpkins here, too.

Parking: There is an unpaved lot with limited space in front of the store.
