For the section of coast between Boston and Maine, Gloucester is home to the best beaches hands down. Good Harbor Beach took my breath away – the sand is sugary white, and the beach is a deep wide curve, and the view of the open ocean is stunning. The paved parking lot is only medium-sized so it does fill up early in the morning.
